Dr. Paul O’Shea is the Principal Solicitor of O’Shea Lawyers with extensive experience with advice and representation in all aspects of commercial law.
He has conducted actions in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts of Queensland, the Planning and Environment Court, the Federal Court of Australia, the High Court of Australia, QCAT and the Fair Work Commission.
Dr. O'Shea has represented clients in their dealings with ASIC, APRA, Austrac, AMSA, MSQ, and other state and federal government authorities. He has been approved as an External Compliance Reviewer of Australian Credit Licensees by ASIC and appointed as a “Friend of the Court” by the Federal Court of Australia
He sits on several company boards as well as the Advisory Board of the UQ Pro Bono Centre. He is an Adjunct Professor of the University of Queensland Law School and he sits on the Banking and Finance Committee and the Competition and Consumer Law Committee of Queensland Law Society.
